Here’s what I’m donating:
The wildflower seeds I’m going to toss in a patch of dirt in our alley so they can grow there. Bees love them and I’d rather look at wildflowers in the alley than weeds!
I belong to a local gym that charges me $10.49/month to workout. This is actually a pretty good deal. I know, I know there are those out there who would say I should just buy a treadmill, by the time you figure in monthly charges for the gym it would have paid for itself already. This is true, no denying it. However, the truth of the matter is that I don’t need another anything in my house, especially one that’s likely to just end up at some point with clothes hanging all over it.
So here’s how I earn money to pay for the gym membership…the Walgreens Balance Rewards program will give you a .20/mile credit, up for a total of $10.00/month. So it’s a win-win. I also use the site as a way to track how many steps I’m walking daily, weighing in, and setting healthy weight goals. You earn Balance Rewards credits for each of those activities, which are points that you can redeem just like cash at the register. You can also combine coupons too when redeeming your points for even more savings.
PLUS-here’s the part where it gets good. Through my health insurance if i go to the gym 12x/month they REIMBURSE me the cost of the membership! How great is that?!
I get reimbursed my $10.49 each month!
I get .20/mile through the Walgreens Balance Rewards Program
